Van condition:
Although the van is a 2016, it was purchased off the dealer lot brand new in May of 2017, so it is really just 1-year old, as it took an entire year to build out. As such it is like new. The whole bottom outside of the van was wrapped in black 3m vinyl to protect from chips and to give it that blacked out (murdered) look. The hood was also wrapped.

With less than 22000 miles it is just barely broken in for a diesel. Some reports have these engines going to 400,000 miles. The vehicle was maintained according to schedule with two EXTRA service visits just to make sure everything was top shape before road trips. Each time the oil was changed, even though not necessary.

There is a small dent on the slider door bottom panel that is wrapped in vinyl about 6″ overall. The object did not tear the vinyl of the door, and the dent could most likely be easily pulled out, but it is not noticeable, and for us wasn’t necessary.

Some notes on the build process:
– Meticulous attention to detail
– Stainless steel hardware
– POR-15 Rust proof painted whole bathtub floor
– L-Track based system
– 5 layers of insulation on ceiling and walls (Dynamat Extreme, 3M Thinsulate SM600L, Low-E foam, sound deadening foam, 1/4″ Baltic birch plywood
– 3 layers of floor insulation (Low-E foam, 1/2″ elephant cork rubber, 1/8″ coinmat)
– Full overhead and upper cab insulation, even fished all the side columns
– Full sliding door insulation, fished all the side columns
– Heavy duty wire-loom for electrical wires to prevent chafing and damage
– Dreaded trim panel plug preventative maintenance (remove all trim and seal all trim-clip holes)
– Minimal amount of hole making or drilling by using L-Track and pre-defined wire routes

Some items shown in photos are NOT included, such as shovel, axe, Pendleton wool blanket, extension cords, tape, etc. They were placed for example purposes.
